With the lavender and the corn ripening in the fields, the countryside is revealed in all its beauty in contrasting strips of colour. These fields are between St Saturnin and Rustrel.
Not a comment about painting,but heard about the carnage at Nice. I hope the dead will rest in peace and the families will find support during this terrible time. Looking at the tranquil scene ,painting the beautiful surroundings it is hard to come to terms with the horror that man can inflict . May they rest in peace.
