The year of the hollyhock

The cold spell in the winter which saw off some well-established plants and favourite trees, has been a boon for the hollyhocks of Les Bassacs.  There are over 20 different colours to be found in the centre of the village. I took these photos this morning, in the peace and quiet,  after Paul's group had left for L'Isle sur la Sorgue market.
